Just wanted to say right off the bat that in the short time I've been looking at these forums it seems like there's an amazing amount of BBQ knowledge here. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you.
As for me, I live northwest of Boston. I've been cooking all my adult life, but only took up smoking less than a year ago (there are no good BBQ joints around where I live, so I decided I had to learn to make it myself).
I've been learning the basics with a Camp Chef pellet smoker, but this spring I'm planning to get myself a PBC for ribs, and maybe a Weber Performer as well.
Spring can't come soon enough. Cheers,
