Howdy Y'all! I have been smoking meats for about 20 years. I did a bunch of reading back then and thought I had a good idea of what I was doing on my Char-broil offset smoker. I usually got good meat and enjoyed it except for the babysitting that it required. Fast forward to this year. I walked into our new BBQ shop and saw the barrel smokers. Set it and it runs with minimal adjustment. Cool! I got a Hunsaker and now run it every weekend I am home. Thank goodness the wife loves the BBQ as much as me. I also learned that a bunch of what I learned is no longer true. Researching this and that always brought me here so I thought I should support the Pit.
