Seems like a good time to stoke the flame, like a lot of grillers am letting charcoal do its magic with babyback ribs this afternoon. I am a new member of this group, being a long time viewer, and have learned a lot from the folks that hang around here.
I live in the little settlement of America, Illinois, right on the Ohio River, in deep southern Illinois where the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers collide with each other. Been grilling a long time and like most really enjoy it. Don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but have 7 grills and smokers around to remind me of yesterday's equipment, mostly Weber. Use an Auber controller for smoking combined with a good selection of woods and a couple my dry rubs.
Look forward to spending more time here and learning more from this group!

Just a git back with ya, since I joined in 2018. I have been grilling, cooking, canning and having fun since that time. I follow this wonderful site often for info, help, grilling tools and recipes. Otherwise, just hunkered down between the Ohio river and our 8 acre lake. Live right on the Ohio River bank, it is a high location!
