I’m new here and new to pellet grills. So far, I’m a little disappointed in the amount of smoke I’m getting. Anyone have any suggestions or hot tips for increasing smoke?

Welcome from Colorado. Not a pellet head myself ... but I know that you shouldn't expect much smoke at high temps from a pellet pooper and that a lot of folks supplement the smoker with something like Fire Art mentioned: the A-MAZE-N tube.

Did you do any research on pellet cookers before you purchased?

Light smoke flavor is just a characteristic you are going to have with most pellet cookers.

As mentioned Ned there are auxiliary smoke tubes, cold smoke add ons, pellet choice/quality, etc... that can have an impact but at the end of the day you aren’t likely to get the same smoke as you would with a stick burner.

Welcome Mike. You have also discovered why most here have multiple cookers. It’s sorta like being a carpenter, where there are many different saws & they all cut wood but... I digress. Start with the tube thing & progress. Eat good & have fun.

+1 on the tube add on, especially at higher temps. If you keep the temp low you will get better smoke. Welcome from Winnipeg.

Welcome. I use a "wedgie" for extra smoke. You can find it at bbqpelletsonline.com
what ever you add, light it with a torch and let it burn for 7+ minutes before you put meat on and close the lid. You will get plenty of smoke.
