I'm Kathy and I live in the NW Houston area. I've been smoking for years and for most of those it has been various cheapo vertical water smokers with great success -- they're just a pain to keep up to temp., etc., and you can only get a season or two out of 'em so I bought myself a large Smoke Vault. Then my kids bought me a large Big Green Egg (great kids, right??). I love them both! It's so much easier to cook on either one and yes, I use them both.
I'm also toying with getting a small propane grill for quicker meals....
