    Hello from Central Texas

Like other introductions on here I have also followed the free side for a while and felt it was time to pay dues! Been smoking central Texas style que for the past 10 years and look forward to learning new styles and techniques.

Man I just left Syracuse 2 weeks ago from visiting family...I was tasked with trying to wrangle up a cookout and just couldn’t make it happen...couldn’t find an offset to borrow, had no clue where to find good wood and wegmans only had so so beef selections....ended up getting dinosaur BBQ to cater and it turned out great...

Welcome to The Pit, Eric! Happy to have you along. Good ol' "Texas style" que...I do the same in Michigan I suppose. Does that make mine Michigan style or is it still Texas style? Regardless, happy to have you here and thanks for the support.

Troy, my Mother-In-Law. I lived in Waco for a while, and one of my best friend's is in Round Rock. So we make our way to CenTex a couple of times a year. Make a lunch trip to Taylor and Louie Mueller at least annually while I'm there! Haven't made it to spend the day at Franklin's yet, but it's on the list!
