    Hello from Irmo, SC

Hi everyone, been a lurker on the site for a few months now. Was using to research charcoal grills after my box store gas grill rusted out at about 5 years. With the advice from the site I picked up a Weber Kettle and a Slow n' Sear. Since then I made steaks, burgers and the best pork shoulder I've ever had. After that I figured joining would help open up advice and recipes for great food to cook, hopefully things I never thought I could. No turning back to gas now!

    Thanks!

Huntington Beach welcomes you and your new gear. I'm liking the set up. Nothing wrong with gas though.

To be faire, the gas grill was very convenient. I was turned off by grill degradation over time and the cost of a quality replacement. And once I tasted the charcoal goodness...I was done or more like medium rare.
