Fairly new to Smoking but a huge fan. I am looking forward to learning the proper way of smoking and great tricks & tips that I know I will find on this awesome website, Pitmaster Club and Forums! I presently use an "MES" (no hating) smoker and have gotten some decent results on whole chickens and ribs, but not so much on pulled pork or brisket. I'm sure the poor results are due to operator error - LOL.
In addition, I will be researching what my next "Big Boy/Girl" Smoker will be and how to get better at Pulled Pork and Brisket. I live in the Kansas City area and would also love to find others in the area that would like to get together and create a local group if anyone is interested. I'm in sales and travel all over the USA and every town I go I find the best BBQ that town has to offer. I have found that there is great BBQ all over this wonderful country!
