I received a free $40 smoker as a safety award and work about a year ago. It was very thin and leaked everywhere. Nonetheless, I smoked a butt on it and was pleasantly surprised at how decent it was. I love eastern NC (vinegar based) BBQ and now I can make my own! I now own a WSM with an Auber 2615 and this chemical engineer is not looking back! I love the reviews on this site and look forward to learning as much as I can. BTW, the $40 smoker is now dedicated to seafood.

Driving through the Triad earlier this week Hulagn... planned to stop in at Prissy Polly's, but not hungry enough... stumbled into Hursey's in Burlington for the first time. Found another great place. You're lucky to live on the NC bbq border!

Kwilnor Prissy Polly's is no joke. If you are ever near Wilson, NC give Parker's a try. The corn sticks and honey butter are enough to warrant the visit.
