    Hello from Oklahoma

I'm a newbie to this site and I'm excited to get some good tips, tricks, recommendations, and lots and lots of recipes!

I've been grilling, smoking, and cooking for quite a few years now. I started out 50+ years ago and I've used / owned several different grills / smokers during that time. I'm now using a 26" Weber w/ Slow N Sear as I loaned my stick smoker to my oldest Son about 13 years ago and it never returned!

We pretty well grill 12 months a year. The biggest problem I have is going out to to a BBQ restaurant to eat!!! I'm ready to learn some new things, 🔥 up the grill, kick back on patio and let summer happen!!!

Yes, my Son still has my stick smoker and won't give it back!!! Hey at least it's still smoking strong.

Yeah, at some point we have to recognize it's time to let the fledglings fly!

I was just out there the other day for a photo op! We presented them a plaque for being a big donor to our recent Walk A Mile In Her Shoes charity event. One of my best friends used to work out there, too, now he's at Targa in Tulsa.

Welcome to the pit! Sounds like you have plenty experience already.

Since you’re new, and if you haven't already done so, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

Also, it's very important that you:

Give us an email address you actually use. You can check the email we have on file for you by clicking your name in the upper-right, then User Settings, then the Account tab. You currently cannot change your email on file with us since it’s tied to your Pitmaster Club account as well as our payment processor, Stripe. Don’t worry though, we’d be happy to change it for you. PM (private message) ”Huskee” with your email change request, or via email at [email protected]

Add the domain AmazingRibs.com to your email safe list. We NEVER spam! This is important so you can receive special deals we occasionally work out for our members, receive notices about your account, such as if you’re up for renewal or are ever drawn as our monthly Gold Medal Giveaway winner, which is open to all USA members or those with a USA delivery address (we’d hate to have to pick another person because you don’t answer us)!

    Thanks for joining!
