I have been following AmazingRibs for a couple of years now and I have found the information, tips, recipes, and discussions to be critical to my success as a grilling fool. I love the science of producing well cooked meats and the art of applying rubs, spices, and techniques.
I rely heavily on my 38" four burner natural gas grill with infrared attachment, and my Traeger pellet grill. With the two at my disposal I can do just about anything using both in tandem.
Recently I have been experimenting with the rotisserie and made a killer prime rib roast for my birthday. Almost overcooked it were it not for my AmazingRibs recommended Thermapen. (Pic attached). BTW, I recently bought five of these during the "open box" campaign to give out as gifts. Lucky friends and family.
In addition to grilling and smokin' I also garden to add fresh sides. And since I'm from California, the land of endless vineyards, I make homemade wine to wash down meat.
I look forward to learning from and contributing to... The Pit.
