    Hello All from Minesing Ontario

    It's been a good winter here, snowmobiling and ice fishing over.. BBQ season just around the corner can't wait to fire up the WSM. I've had it a few years and two things I have learned is that I have a lot to learn and I should have joined this site two years ago..oh well.. I've done mostly pork butts for pulled pork and ribs. Been using hickory lately and like it, I like the killer hogs rub and smoking guns as well. It's been good but I know it can be better. There are hundreds of rubs and sauces out there and I'm still searching for my favourite. I thank you all for sharing your knowledge. I have already seen some upgrades for my WSM. Cheers all and I look forward to time in the Pit.

      Welcome to The Pit. I suggest trying a chuck roast. It smokes like a butt, but may need to go a bit higher in temp for probe tender.

        Since you’re new here, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

        Also, it's very important that you:

        2. Add the domain AmazingRibs.com to your email safe list. We NEVER spam! This is important so you can receive special deals we occasionally work out for our members, receive notices about your account, such as if you’re up for renewal or are ever drawn as our monthly Gold Medal Giveaway winner, which paid members get free monthly entry into, and is open to all USA members. We’d hate to have to pick another person because you don’t answer us!

                              Welcome to the pit I live in SW ontario and I had never heard of Minesing before so I had to look it up you are near Barrie. This is a good place to learn about smoking food with good people.
