    New to the Pit

I've been smoking for about 5 years, and still learning. Found this site and was very impressed with all the information. Started with a Weber kettle with a smokenator, then a kamado. Still not enough room, got a WSM 22.5. Then talked the wife into letting me get a Backwoods Extended Party. She likes the cooking, so there wasn't much discussion. Every once in a while she'll ask which one I'll get rid of and have to explain again that they all have a purpose

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It’s among the best bargains for a smoker in the world. This baby cooks circles around cheap offset smokers because temperature control is so much easier. Click here to read our detailed review and the raves from people who own them.

            Our Favorite Backyard Smoker
