    Howdy From East Texas

    Looking to grind some burgers and found this site, so I had to join.
    I'm your typical guy that loves to cook indoors and out. Got the gas, Kamado and the charcoal grills.
    Always ready to learn from others. Own a commercial grinder for making venison sausage every year.
    For some reason never thought about grinding any beef. Today was that day. Used short ribs and skirt steak.
    Should be interesting.

        Welcome, from the Houston area !!! Man if you have access to fresh venison I'd be mixing with some fatty beef or pork. Yum !!!

          So far, it looks like it turned out well. Did the coarse grind. Next test is the Grill!
          I also have a house in Sea Isle Galveston and am an avid wade fish guy as well as off shore and bay. Born and raised in Houston. Looking to do some fresh redfish on the grill this weekend if the fishing holds.
