Recently in searching for a thermometer for two my pits I ran across your site. Glad to be among fellow smokers and eaters.
Once I figure out how, I'll post a few photos of my builds.
I wil say that after looking at some of your devices, I'm a little embarrassed. I'm an old school guy as you will see from my photos.
Anyway, glad to be here.
I'm 69, retired and former Air Force Vietnam Veteran.
I cook for friends and family and have fought the suggestions for years that people want me to open up a store front. Honestly, all the work with all of the headaches so I'll just maintain my amateur status.
I'm still looking for a couple of thermometers to mount in the doors of my pits. ¾" diameter screw in type is what I need.
