    Hello. I'm Josh. New to the pit but have enjoyed recipes on this site for quite some time. Glad to be a member now. My profile pic is me holding a 30 lb Chuck Roll. Anybody else cook these things whole?

          The picture automatically rotated when I uploaded it to my profile and I couldn't figure out how to rotate it back. Anyhow below is a pic of the finished chuck roll.

          Not sure how much it shrank. If I had to guess I'd say it weighed 20 lbs after being trimmed and cooked.

        Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

        Also, it's very important that you:
        • Give us an email address you actually use. You can check the email we have on file for you by clicking your name in the upper-right, then User Settings, then the Notifications tab.           Dude! Seriously? You cooked a whole roll? On what? And how long? To what temp? How long did that take. Your a beast.moh, from where do you hail and....... Huntington Beach welcomes you and the chuck.

            Cooked it on a Pitboss 820 deluxe pellet smoker at 225. It took from 10am the previous day to 6pm the following day (32 hrs). I only got it up to 190 internal temp. I was aiming for 200 but got hungry.
