Metro Detroit but close enough. I'm a family man who loves blues, brews, and 'que (not necessarily in that order). I've only ever been a backyard propane griller, but I am ready to get into the smoke game. I intend to purchase a PBC as my Christmas present this year and I'm pretty sure I have my first 4 cooks planned. I found the site a few months ago when I had this notion to cook a prime rib for the first time. I ended up doing a dry brine followed by a reverse sear on the grill with Mrs. O'Leary's cow crust. Big hit. I'm lovin the good-hearted humor and tips while the engineer in me loves the food science. Happy to be here and keep learning.
