I live on Long Island, just outside of New York City. When I'm not working in Real Estate development and construction I'm feeding my wife and 3 young boys smoked or grilled meat from our backyard.
I'm serious about meat, mostly beef and lamb, and I love experimenting in the smoker. My current weekend apparatus is a Weber Kettle with a Slow 'N Sear and a FlameBoss 300 controller. Monday-Friday most of our meals come off a Weber Genesis. I'm planning to get a more dedicated smoking rig in the near future but I haven't decided which direction to go.
We filled our chest freezer with 200lbs of organic pastured meat last week so I finally decided to sign up after using this website as my bible for the last two years. I'm hoping to get some new ideas to help me unload the freezer.
