Howdy- With my recent 3rd place win in the fun Amazing Ribs "show your rib face" photo contest... I FINALLY decided to take the plunge and join the pitmaster club I guess you could say that she's the reason I am here... lol!!

Just a bit about myself...

Married for 24 years. We have 9 daugthers... yep, NINE.

Been cooking outdoors, with a passion, for a bit over 20 years. Not a chef by any means... just a backyard cook. It's my form of aroma-therapy.

Love my family, and love my friends. I find little in life more satisfying then cooking them a GREAT meal.

Over the past 20 years, I have tried just about every type of main-stream cooker that I am aware of... and have bought/sold more then I care to mention. It's been a FUN journey

With 9 daughters, and a busy family schedule, I recently sold most of my cooking arsenal, and settled down with a new MAK 2 Star and my Blackstone griddle. With the convenience of a pellet muncher, I find myself cooking outdoors WAY more then ever before... and loving it!!

Thrilled to be here, and look forward to getting to know you guys/gals a whole lot more.

Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

2. Add the domain AmazingRibs.com to your email safe list. We NEVER spam! This is important to receive notices about your account, such as if you’re up for renewal or are ever drawn as our monthly Gold Medal Giveaway winner, which is open to all USA members, (whether Free Trial or subscribing), or those with a USA delivery address. We’d hate to have to pick another person because you don’t answer us!
