    Checking in from Welland, Ontario!

    After reading the site for....forever it's great to see such an active membership in the pit! My wife (fiancee at the time) got me started about 2 years ago with a Bradley smoker for father's day. Quickly moved up from that to a Weber kettle, a pellet grill, and a masterbuilt electric. On one hand, it's a lot of different grills/smokers.....on the other hand...it's not enough!

    I recently picked up the Slow N Sear, and it's fantastic! If any of you have good dealers in Canada, let me know, as that's always my hold up

    Looking forward to meeting some of you, discussing great food, and being a member!

      We're cooking anything and everything we can get our hands on! Did a nice chuck roast last night with the slow n sear, and had no leftovers

      Since you’re new, and if you haven't already done so, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

      Also, it's very important that you:

      Give us an email address you actually use. You can check the email we have on file for you by clicking your name in the upper-right, then User Settings, then the Notifications tab.                             I'm an old timer (80) who likes to learn how things are made. I was an electronics tech, patented a Wood turning tool and sold a few hundred and had fun. Always liked cookbooks, loved reading about woodworking and how to make everything. Obsessed with sous vide and it's potential presently.
