    Hey guys and gals- thanks for having me. New member from north Texas- I do my cooking on a PBC, and loving every minute. Still learning, so I look forward to all the experienced members' advice. Still looking to attain perfect ribs...but getting closer and enjoying the mistakes!

            Welcome to The Pit! Great hear that you picked up a PBC! Check out this thread by fzxdoc It is filled with great info regarding lighting and maintaining temps in your PBC. This one is also key for cook times!

            Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

            Also, it's very important that you:

            Give us an email address you use on a regular basis. You can check the email we have on file for you by clicking your name in the upper-right, then User Settings, then the Notifications tab.                 Haha- did my homework to find out what MCS is... I better start saving because I feel some of those symptoms after reading all the posts!

                Just rewrite your family budget and add a new line item for MCS acquisitions. That makes things much easier.👍😎

              Welcome man!! I almost made it to Irving (almost North Texas) today. Luckily the wife found the vehicle she wanted in Longview. That 150 minute round trip was enough for moi.
