    Hello from Massachusetts!

    Hi. Thanks to everyone for some great recipes and techniques that I've had success with over the years, specifically with regards to indoor oven cooking. Figure it's time to join the pit.

    While I have a barbecook charcoal grill that was about as apartment safe as I could get, I'm researching a gas grill in the new (for me) house. Post on that later.

    If anyone is ever looking to talk beer, I'm always interested.

    Welcome to The Pit extrabitter! Happy to have you here, thanks for joining up! I love beer, although admittedly I drink mostly cheapies like Hamm's and Pabst, I do appreciate the finer brews. A couple of my faves are Bell's Best Brown and Two Hearted Ale, Samuel Adams Cold Snap and their Rebel IPA I like too, Coors Batch 19, and DAB. Not to be overlooked IMO is North Peak's Siren Amber. Many more which I enjoy too but these are the top players for me. Oh, almost forgot Stella Artois and skunkier yet, Moosehead. Yum.

    Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

    Also, it's very important that you:
    1. Give us an email address you actually use. You can check the email we have on file for you by clicking your name in the upper-right, then User Settings, then the Notifications tab.     2. Add the domain AmazingRibs.com to your email safe list. We NEVER spam! This is important to receive notices about your account, such as if you’re up for renewal or are ever drawn as our monthly Gold Medal Giveaway winner, which is open to all USA members or those with a USA delivery address (we’d hate to have to pick another person because you don’t answer us)!

                              I don't drink beer. I only drink water that contains barley,malt and hops. Soooo good.
