        I'm the resident crawfish cooker too. My wife didn't let me buy a pot, so I whittled one out of wood. lol

        The wife used to say she doesn't like smoked food, but she just didn't really know what it was. It'd didn't take long.

          I'm still trying to figure out what the heck you were thinking of when you decided to build a smoker out of wood.
          Wood and fire go together great if you're trying to burn the house down. Hehe
          But seriously that is one bad ass smoker.

                The fact the smoker is made of wood is what most find surprising, and frankly, I didn't know if it would work. Fire did necessitate several improvements to be made, but that's been part of the fun of continuously working on it. Someone once said necessity is the mother of invention, and I necessitated meat.
