    Hello from Sooutheastern Ontario

    I'm a food nerd. Period. Having retired from a full-time career in education, and a part-time career as a reservist, I now have plenty of time to devote to being nerdy about food. My "bibles" are Kenji's "The Food Lab" and "Seriouseats.com", with about two dozen other books and websites very close behind. Although my "thing" is artisan bread, grilling from Feb to Nov is a passion, along with barbecue and sous vide experiments. Some of my work gets posted in very erratic, random fashion on my food blog (Rhubarb Chronicles @ Wordpress) and personal website (williamlundy.ca) -- but a lack of posts simply means I'm busier cooking than tooting my own horn.             Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.
