Howdy from Edmonton

Hi folks!

I'm an amateur smoker from the frozen north (Alberta Canada) who found this place while researching my next smoker. I've used cheap hardware store smokers for years and usually got a decent product. Then a few years ago some buddies and I welded up a custom reverse flow rig and we all got hooked. We started entering BBQ comps and we fire up a smoker every weekend we possibly can.

The big reverse flow unit I co-own lives at a buddies house, so now I'm looking at a Weber kettle with sns for Sunday evening dinners for me and the wife. I'll probably be fabricating myself a mid size stick burner in the near future, since that's about the only style of smoker our BBQ crew doesn't have.


Anyways I just thought I'd stop in introduce myself, happy smoking everyone.
