    Hello from Chicago

    Hi everybody! I'm Jason from Aurora, IL, about 40 miles west of Chicago. I got started smoking about 4-5 yrs ago after I bought a cheap offset at Sam's, then I found this website and quickly ditched the off set and bought a WSM 22.5" and have been chasing BBQ perfection ever since.
    I currently own a Weber 22.5 Kettle w/SnS, a Weber smokey mountain 22.5", Weber Genesis 330 LP gas, and just purchased a KBQ (arrived yesterday!!!) Super excited to see what we can do with this beast... Also looking for a good local source for quality wood to feed my KBQ, if anyone has recommendations?

    Glad I finally pulled the trigger and joined the Pitmaster Club, well worth it already - Great community of crazy BBQer'S!

      Welcome to fun and learning! You've got MCS pretty bad already, so I know you made the right decision to join! There are plenty of folks who will help with each of your cookers, so ask away!

      BTW, I'm a few miles NW of you near Rockford, so I get the weather at least!

            Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

            Also, it's very important that you:
