Hey all,
Newer member here, just haven't posted on the forum yet. Own 3 Weber 22.5's, 2 barrel smokers, Cabelas vertical electric smoker, and just had to retire a very used, and appreciated New Braunfels smoker. From the Kansas City area, but was blessed with a job that took me all over the country, so I could test out a lot of different BBQ methods. Love me some Carolina Mustard for pork, almost...almost...makes me want to stray from the Gates and Joe's sauces for good. Proud Kansas City Chiefs Tailgater that is there hours before the gates open, and is always looking for new ways to enhance the art of BBQ. This site convinced me to buy a Slow-N-Sear Plus, and man...it changes the game for Weber kettles. Which already is insanely versatile. Been thinking about trying out a gas smoker, I mainly do charcoal/wood, and wood smoking.
Been grilling and smoking since 1999. Hope to glean some info from all the folks here.
Thanks,
LVS
