Why Prischap you might ask. I spent 20 years as the Protestant Chaplain at Centinela State Prison in Imperial, California prior to retiring in August of 2014. Now I am enjoying retirement in the same community and adjusting to grilling and smoking meats and other delectables where we see temperatures ranging from just above freezing in the winter to 120+ in the summer. And, the triple digits usually begin in April and make their way out in early October.
I have a gas grill that I usually just use for barbecuing. Last year I invested in a Bradley, four rack, electric smoker which I now use more than the barbeque.
I have been happily married to an incredible woman for 38 years and have two girls and two boys, two son-in-laws and one daughter-in-law, six granddaughters and two grandsons. The kids deserted us here in the Imperial Valley and moved to cooler climes. As my wife is still working we remain here until she follows me in retirement when we plan to relocate closer to them in the Pacific Northwest.
