Hello from Central Indiana

Good Morning Everyone!

My name is Scott and I live in Zionsville, Indiana, a small town just outside of Indy.

I've known about Amazing Ribs for a couple years now, but didn't know it was near the wealth of knowledge that it is! Was deep frying the Thanksgiving bird for years and wanted to try grilling it instead. After a quick on-line search I found the extensive recipe for grilling a whole Turkey. I loved all the info, science, and ancillary tidbits about grilling a turkey (reminded me of Alton Brown and Good Eats)! After Thanksgiving this year I started poking around the site a bit more, and then asked for the Meathead book for Christmas. And here I am...

I have an older Weber 3 burner grill (burner tubes go side to side), and am looking at getting a charcoal grill as well (don't tell my wife)! I've nailed the 225 and 325 thing, but boy do I have a lot to learn and this seems like a great resource.
