Long time lurker here, want to officially say hi and introduce myself.

Former LEO, current Investment Advisor living in Northwestern PA. Got into grilling/smoking while in college. I currently use an old Charbroil 990 with a custom firebox I made to give me a direct and indirect side. Works well, but tough to keep a temp.

I'm going to acquire a new toy this spring. I'm wrestling between a Yoder 640 and a Primo Oval XL. Being in the snow belt, I'm leaning towards Primo.

Thank you all for sharing your cooks, setups, and secrets. I appreciate this site very much.
