    New From Connecticut

    Hello from Connecticut. The names Dj, a frequent visitor of the website for a long time and figured it was time to join. Currently own a 22" Weber kettle and I'm saving for WSM, I love smoking pork butts and ribs and I'm looking to try some new meats and learn new tips and tricks.

        Welcome to The Pit Dj. I suggest a nicely marbled chuck roast next.
        Smoke it the same as a butt, butt it will cook quicker. I'd suggest a beef rub instead of a pork rub though.

          WELCOME from the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, CT DJ! On top of that pork butt & ribs, looks like you enjoy a nice cup'a brew too!

          I've got a 26" Weber charcoal grill and 2 side smokers I use for all kinds of meats and such. I've found following the recipes on here to be a great help in expanding my smoking repertoire, hope you find it as such as well.
