    Hello All!!!!

    Hi, my name is David. I reside in Murfreesboro TN. not really new to the smoking game, but I recently upgraded my equipment to do more of a catering style cook...multiple meats. this is the part I'm new at....I bought Meathead's book, and I damn sure wish I would have bought it before I bought 2 other books by a man that just wanta to tell you how good he is. Anyway just here looking for tips and and to open up avenues to bounce ideas of flavor profiles and ingredients around....Cheers yall and happy smokin!!!!!!

      Welcome to The Pit dduke615! Nice to have you here with us, thanks for the support. Hmmm, David from Murfreesboro sounds familiar, doesn't it fuzzydaddy? (One of our mods used to live there as well, and his name is David!) Anyhow, great to meet you David. What are you cooking on now?

      Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

            Welcome dduke615. We're glad you joined! Huskee is right . I have a house in the Blackman area (I-840 & Veterans Pkwy) that we're due to close on in couple of weeks (we've moved out). My full name is James David Polston, I go by David but my grand-daughter calls me fuzzydaddy. Hope to see you around The Pit often and some pics of your cooks and gear would be great.
