Afternoon, I live in Astoria Oregon....where we like to say "Where the river meets the sea". The mighty Columbia River draining a good portion of Western Canada and the USA smacks into the Pacific sometimes creating thirty foot standing waves. Our bar crossing is arguably the world's most dangerous. I love to cook. I make my own bacon. My current armory includes a Grilldome hardwood charcoal grill and smoker, a Smokin'-It electric smoker, and a dreadful Broilmaster natural gas grill that heats more unevenly than any grill that I have ever owned. I am currently researching pellet grill/smokers......And that is what attracted me to this group. I know that many use their pellet grills to do some slow cooking Q, but my electric smoker seems to do that better and less expensively. I would chat more, but it is about time to go out and do some more salmon fishing.
