    New guy in NORCAL

    Been a huge fan of the site and when my daughter was asking for Father's Day gift ideas I asked for a pit subscription. I'm a Weber guy but use a smokenator for low and slow cooks. Chicken thighs are probably my best food but I do tri tip and ribs pretty fair as well. I make a lot of rubs myself and this site is a huge resource for that. I am also a KCBS judge. I am pretty up to speed on local micro brews and distilleries. Glad to be a member.

                Will you be judging at the Silicon Valley BBQ contest next weekend? I'm entered in the Backyard Division.
