Greetings from Upstate New York!!
We're excited about getting back into smoking - we have 4 things we use:
1. Traditional Weber Grill (How we started, not used much these days)
2. Weber "Great Smokey" (Used a few years ago as our smoker - it's ready for some technilogical hacking!!)
Then the upgrades:
3. Weber Summit gas grill (Use this during weeknights in the summer for grilling - 2 years ago)
4. "The Good One" Open Range (we use this the most for charcoal grilling and smoking - found it on *clearance* at a garden center 2 years ago!)
I travel a lot, and my wife learned how to do smoking, and grilling for when I'm gone, and I think at this point she's better than I am at it!

Although twice now I've gotten my wife to watch the temps when I had to leave and take the meat off and faux cambro it when ready. Baby steps....
