    Greetings from Devon England!

    Greetings all.

I thought I would give this club a trial run. I have been interested in charcoal bbq since 2001 when I was given a boned and rolled joint of pork for Christmas by my wife. That is weird I thought! Then Boxing day she gave me a large box with a Weber One Touch Platinum in it! The race was on to build the barbie so that I could cook dinner. Roast Pork! I still have that old 'Que but since then I have added a Bradley original smoker with cold smoke add on and the large WSM bullet. Oh, I forgot to mention, my wife owns a traditional old pub specialising in real ales and ciders. Beer, Heat, Smoke and lots of friends calling round. What could be better?

Hey Devon man. There is a breed of cattle known as Devon. They came from Devon county England. So you should have an ample supply of beef.

Welcome to The Pit Kirton . The old joke used to be that paradise was finding a wife that owns a liquor store. I think you may have upped that by finding a wife that owns a pub! You're a lucky dude!

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps!! Devon might not be as big as Texas but it is the biggest beef producing county in England! Just about to go down stairs to sup a couple of pints of Rudgate Ruby Mild. It was Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2009. After all, must celebrate Saracens RFC winning the European Rugby Championship this afternoon!

That's pretty much my definition of heaven.
