Been trolling Amazing Ribs for quite some time now. Finally getting around to the whole pitmaster thing. Seems like prior to a cook I spend as much time on this site as I do with the grill! As a novice I tend to have many more questions than answers. Hoping to find solutions to the mysteries.

Living here in GA but have spent time in Indy and OK. Sports junkie, lousy golfer, semi-pro beer drinker. Married, 2 rotten little boys...

Part of what pushed me to finally enroll in the club was the receipt of an Akorn Kamado grill which now sits between my Weber kettle and Genesis Gas grill. Baffled by the Akorn... Have yet to fire it up.

That little Akorn kamado will change how you look at backyard cooking. It's a very, very capable cooker. We have a few kamado cookers here. I'd urge you to post your question(s) in the Kamado section of this forum. You'll find the Kamado section in the Charcoal Area. We can get you up to speed on that Akorn in very short order.
