Working through my homework and checking off step #2: introduction.
From Northern Virginia, been smoking for about a decade and grilling for much longer than that. Always something new to learn, so jumping onboard here. Currently own a 270 Smokers Standard, WSM 18", Weber gasser, A-Maze-N Tube Smoker (6" and 12" to throw on the gasser when I'm lazy, but also good for cold smoking cheese), Cyber-Q, PitmasterIQ 110, two or three Mavericks, Thermapen, and a giant roll of heavy duty aluminum foil. Probably a few other things I've forgotten. Looking forward to wading through this site and picking up some tips, maybe even providing a few of my own now and then.
