Hey all my name is Aaron and I'm and Okie living in Houston. I have two smokers. A grill dome smoker/roaster and a insulated vertical smoker on a trailer. I use the first for most things and grilling. I use the later for competitions and bigger events. When the weather is nice I tend to grill twice a week and smoke at least twice a month. I look forward to getting to know you all and learning all along the way!

Have you tried any B & B briquettes in your smokers? Them things burn loooooooooooooooooooooooong.

Yes I have. They worked more than adequately. I did try lump and am leaning towards that. B&B Oak is my first choice and B&B Hickory is my second. It's new, only 5 smokes, 4 with briquettes (recommended by seller) and one with lump. I use a digi Q control system so the lump was easy to control. -
I'm just over 2 hours from Lonestar and just over 3 hours from B &B's warehouse.
