    Kinda slow new member

Hello All - my name is Greg. I actually joined a couple of months ago, but am just now getting around to introducing myself. I have enjoyed lurking and reading the posts here.

I recieved a Masterbuilt smoker for Christmas and am looking forward to trying some of the recipes found here. I've never done any smoking before, so I'm pretty sure there are going to be a lot of bad meals in my future for awhile.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I really enjoy this site and I'm glad to be a part of this community.

gregtr1, Welcome to The Pit! Just remember BBQ is Ready when the Thermometer Says It Is! BBQ usually will take more Time than You Think It Should! This is good because if you don't feed Family and Guests until a couple of Hrs after they planned to eat, They Will Swear It's The Best BBQ They Have Ever Tasted!

Welcome to the Pit, Greg! The only bad meals in your future will be the ones you get at restaurants who can't put out food like your Masterbuilt can ...
