    Cheers from St. Louis

    Excited to be a part of the community! My wife and I bought our first house recently, and to celebrate I added a Weber Master Touch and a Blackstone to go with my Traeger.

    I’ve benefited from several recipes on here already before I joined and looking forward to the ones I’ve already begun to earmark I didn’t have access to before.

    So far some of my biggest successes have been wet rub St. Louis style ribs, smoked salmon, reverse seared filet, pulled pork, along with double bacon cheeseburgers and breakfast on the Blackstone. I cook a lot of other things across all cuisines and cultures in the kitchen, but I feel like a newbie outside. Going to be fun to start expanding my skills with the brilliant meatheads here.

    My wife will eat anything too so I lucked out there.

                    Welcome to the Pit from Alabama! Glad to have you onboard. With that combination - kettle, griddle and pellet - you can do just about anything you need to do outside. And you will find a lot of kettle fans on here too - I feel it's one of the most versatile cookers out there, with so many accessories available. You can grill, smoke, griddle, deep fry, bake, rotisserie and so on with a 22" kettle. My Weber Performer Deluxe is one of my favorite cookers.

                      Good to hear how much you enjoy your Weber. Definitely want to utilize everything it's capable of. Next investment is probably a rotisserie attachment.
