Previous long term user of a Weber Smoky Mountain cooker converting to pellet grill for ease of use. Primary uses to include chicken, fish and pork (bacon included) due to dietary concerns - it comes with age. I love the smell of bacon in the morning.

Haven’t left the smoker completely, just having fun learning the pellet grill. So far using it for bacon, jalapeño poppers and shotgun shells. The Weber will come back into play for pork ribs and pulled pork. Meanwhile, it’s hot out there! Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome from the northern Virginia burbs of the nation's capital! Hope you survive that brutal heat out there... that heat dome is set to expand back into AZ and SE CA in the coming days.
I started the smoking thing only two years ago, and my first cooker is a vertical pellet smoker (not a grill), and I love it. Also use a SnS kettle and Weber gasser, which covers the waterfront pretty well for me. You're in the right place to learn, this is a fantastic community!
