You had me at bourbon.
Best bourbon drinking experience ever: We camped our way up to the northern tip of the western penninsula of Newfoundland from Maine. We went out on a reproduction Viking ship near L'Anse aux Meadows and circled many small icebergs. The sailors scooped up some floating bits, and we put them in a cooler. That evening, we had our bourbon on iceberg rocks. What is particularly cool about it is that icebergs are made from compressed snow, which traps bit of oxygen inside, and when you put them in a drink they fizz like the candy PopRocks. Helped make up for the storms of blackflies and mosquitos.
