Does anyone other than me think there’s been a significant addition of new members since last fall? Huskee , any chance you have numbers to confirm that theory?

I've noticed this as well, but I have also seen spikes in new member postings from time to time. Don't ask me why cause I ain't got a clue. But that might go for a whole lot of things.

I’m less than 30 days into my 90 day trial and there have been a lot of new members since I’ve signed up. I was wondering if there were this many people always signing up. It’s pretty awesome.Comment

And then there those survivalists. Yup, the ones that think soon they’ll be foraging in the woods, growin hair on their knuckles. Then when they see an elephant or moose, they want to know what to do with it, especially the techniques & how to make rubs & stuff.Comment

We have a fairly consistent ebb & flow. We do get regular signups, I'd estimate in the teens as a weekly average. It does seem a touch more than usual lately are posting a "Hello", which is great. ComfortablyNumb is spot on though. We also see a steady stream of non-renewals. With many the newness wears off and life happens and our numbers don't grow as much as it appears they should be with all the new faces/names we see popping in. We do see a very respectable renewal rate here, one of the highest!Comment

I know this is a brief snapshot in time, but for me in recent posts the top hit is SUWYC and the next nine are Introduce Yourself! I'm not complaining at all btw. I like the new members and contributors but it seems more frequent right now, probably because grilling/smoking season is upon us. Here's to learning something!Comment

I wonder...is the high rate of non-renewals linked at all to gift subscriptions?
All I can say is when I started my smoker adventure, the fine folks here were a lifesaver...and continue to be so!Comment
