Hi I'm 41 from Texas,
I have been smoking for around 7 years now. I cut my teeth in the smoking world with Meatheads book and havent looked back, i've cooked it pretty much cover to cover. I will be cooking in the next Houston Rodeo. I decided to join up to get more insight into the bbq world such as sausage making and meat grinding as well as a few new recipes.
My gear is a Komado Joe classic II, a GMG David Bowie, and a southwest disc cowboy wok. Currently thinking about getting rid of the GMG and moving to a stick burner, either an Aaron Franklin or a Yonder Wichita Loaded.
