Just signed up. I live just outside of Dallas in Irving, TX. I’ve been grilling and smoking for 40 years. It’s part of life here. I own various gas, charcoal, electric grills. I “inherited” an Oklahoma Joe smoker/grill combo. It’s my first offset smoker. Not overly impressed, but I’m still learning on it. I’ve always used a gas grill with wood chips/chunks. Mostly smoke briskets. I’ve never been taught how to smoke, just learned on my own and figured things out through trial and error.
I heard Meathead’s book mentioned in passing on a YouTube video so I checked it out from the library. Really like the book so I thought I would sign up for the website and see what’s here.
