    Hello from East Texas

    Been coming to this site for about 6 months now. Lots of great information about BBQ. I've been using a Master Forge propane smoker for about 1.5 years now with minimum success. Thought I'd try charcoal cooking out and recently bought me a Pitt Barrel Cooker. Hamburgers last weekend and a 8 lb CAB brisket yesterday. Friends were very approving of my new cooker. Or maybe it was the free beer they liked? Maybe some of both​ Im sure. Lot's of great information here...Thanks for all the great help. Butch

            Hey fellow Texan, I'm actually in Tyler. Im in Center, TX quite often, My company Delivers fuel (Gasoline, Diesel, Jet fuels) Love the Area.

            Hi Butch - You're in REAL BBQ country there in Texas. I also have a PBC and have never had a bad result. Just follow the recipes on the PBC website and you can't go wrong. (Free beer never hurts!)

                Welcome to The Pit Butch . You're in a great place to learn how to master the PBC. Lots of great support here. I've learned how to put out some really good 'Q on my PBC by following the advice of these sharing members. Does the Country Tavern still make great BBQ?

                  Yes Sir! The Country Tavern still making great BBQ. Go there every couple of months. We ride our Harley's out there and have a nice time with friends. Lots of great info on this site.
