Joined in November and just catching up after holidays. I live in Northern Virginia, about 30 miles West of Washington DC. Big Weber fan and advocate; their quality and customer service are what has me hooked. I have a Weber Kettle, Weber Genesis (propane), WSM 18, Jumbo Joe and Smokey Joe. I am new to smoking, about 2 years, but I have been grilling since I was young. I have about 20 smokes under my belt almost all Boston Butts, with a couple beef efforts. I’ve learned a lot from the site and decided to become a member, hoping to getting advice for situations that arise. I am hoping to learn and beef up my game (pun intended). My beef smokes are not producing wonderful results, but my beef experience is limited.
