    Hello from Rockford, IL

    Hello all, long time lurker here, but figured I should wade in and say howdy.

    I've been grilling and smoking for quite a while, and am learning something new every time I cook.
    I've had great sucess using a lot of Meathead's recipes over the years.
    If you'd ask my lovely wife, she'd say we have too much outdoor cooking equipment LOL. Nope.
    Lately, I've been greatly enjoying cooking open fire over a Breeo firepit.

    Aside from cooking, my wife and I are both Executive Bourbon Stewards, and enjoy entering cocktail contests.

                Executive Bourbon Steward is a certification you can obtain via a class at Moonshine University run by Flavorman in Louisville, KY. It's a solid class involving both in-class learning and hands-on in the distillery, actually making Whiskey. You learn about the history of Bourbon, and learn and experiment with putting together Bourbon flights. Part of the class involves sensory training and nosing. At the end of the class, if you pass the test, you obtain your certification. Great fun actually!
