Hey all. I'm new here but have lurked here a few times 5 pages at a time. LOL I'm relatively new to BBQ (Covid hobby became obsession) but as with most of my hobbies I usually dive in pretty deep. My cookers are a Weber 22" kettle with slow n sear and vortex; my smoker is an 18" WSM I picked up at a garage sale for $75. Love it. Smoked a sh!t ton of pork butts on it... a couple briskets, and a fair amount of ribs. Not a lot of room so these work well for me.
Speaking of ribs, I entered a community division cookoff at the Elkhorn, WI Ribfest. Me and a couple buddies are gonna hang out for the day, enjoy a few cigars, and cook ribs.
I'm coming up from the Chicagoland burbs. Went ot the fest last year just to scope out the community division. Very Chill. Decided right then I was gonna sign up for 2022.
